Starting work at 15 as a Student Apprentice I qualified as a Professional Mechanical Engineer and climbed the Corporate ladder to become Chairman and CEO., later launching my own Business Consultancy rescuing companies and mentoring people in their careers.

The first low was at age 22 when I was ‘let go’ from Rolls Royce Aero Engines Limited.

Rolls Royce helped by recommending me to one of their major suppliers and by re-locating I was able to continue my career as a Design Engineer.

This was a good move as I met my wife and my career progressed through a number of internal promotions.

Growing in confidence from experience and with ambition to do well for my family I started looking for advancement leading to increased earning power and opportunities to broaden my experience for further advancement.

At first applying for new jobs was a major challenge because I had no Resume and struggled all one weekend with one job application creating my first Resume and Cover Letter.
